Bandwidth and Rackspace		  

The bandwidth and rackspace on this page is designed to compliment one of our own hosting servers (click to view our range of Linux servers or Sun servers). Simply choose the bandwidth package that you would like, select a server and then add the setup (£199) and housing fees (£150 per 'U' per year). We will then build, install and configure your server for you.

Our new facilities are based in the Harbour Exchange facility in London's Docklands, next to Canary Wharf. These facilities have 24 hour security and maintenance, along with UPS battery backup, generator backup, firewall protection and a 99.97% up time, ensuring that your internet connection is not only fast, but also very reliable.

Our bandwidth and housing fees shown on this page are general examples of our prices. If you have a specific requirement then please contact us and we would be delighted to give you a quotation.

Bandwidth by usage is where you pay for the bandwidth / data transfer used on a monthly basis.

Control your power for FREE!

FREE firewall protection

A unique feature that we can offer you with each of our colocation packages is an online control panel to allow you to perform free and instant shutdowns and reboots via a web browser.

The power can be turned on and off to your server through an APC Masterswitch. Bear in mind that some hosting companies will charge over £50 per reboot out of office hours.

  

Unlike many hosting companies, we provide high levels of security free of charge with all hosting packages via a WatchGuard Firebox system.

These ICSA certified firewall systems are managed only by WatchGuard Certified Systems Professionals to ensure that your server security is of the highest standard, constantly updated to take account of new and emerging threats.

At the time of installation, a Watchguard Certified Professional will discuss your security concerns and recommend an appropriate solution. This will consist of implementing a range of filters on our firewall appliances to ensure that only necessary and legitimate traffic is permitted to reach your system.

Protection for your own networks, including configuration of hardware and software based firewalls, VPNs and virus protection is also available.
